Safety data sheets and certificates

What each document is for

The safety data sheet covers hazards, first aid, storage and the transport classification of the gas. Keep it with the cylinders on site and in the vehicle. A certificate of conformity confirms that the product matches its specification, and a certificate of analysis gives the measured purity of a batch. Contractors working on larger sites are often asked for all three before work starts.

What the cylinder label shows

Under Article 12 of Regulation (EU) 2024/573, every cylinder label names the gas, states that it contains a fluorinated greenhouse gas, and gives the quantity in kilograms, the GWP and the CO2e. Reclaimed gas with a GWP of 2,500 or more, such as our regenerated R404A, carries the extra labelling the regulation requires for servicing use.

Missing a document?

We publish files as we receive them from the supplier. If the gas you need shows "available on request", for example R513A or R452A, ask through contact and we send it with the order. Technical data for each gas, such as composition, safety class and GWP, is always on its own page in the catalogue.
